coconut oil is commonly used in cold process however in high percentage it can leave the skin dry. Like most things in life, there is an exception to the rule. We used 100% coconut oil then adjusted the sodium hydroxide to superfat at 20%. okay, that is the soap maker version. in simple terms - it means that we used only coconut oil then left a lot of extra coconut oil to moisturize the skin.
